Spaztikolon - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Spaztikolon is a five-musician troupe influenced by the diverse roots of jazz, rap, ska, funk and punk rock. Using the concept of a basic jazz ensemble to comprise their instrumentation, Spaztikolon combines upbeat brass licks with thick, earth quaking bass and percussion to create the effect of a lounge act on ephedrine. The vocals provide a melodic overlay through the use of three-part harmonies, fast-paced rhymes and literal dialogue, transforming with every song and every musical genre presented. As a result, the Spaztikolon song list attempts to tackle multiple forms of music at once, giving the band a sound that most audiences cannot define or categorize. Instead, the urge to get up and dance becomes the main priority of shocked witnesses.

Live performances include the use of extravagant, often thematic costumes and props, frequently changing between songs and sets. Stage drama, improvisation and audience participation make Spaztikolon shows truly unique, and the explosively high energy levels of the band members guarantee a constant, unstoppable display of movement and insanity. (Spaztikolon has even performed in the nude...more than once, but perhaps never again.) The New Jersey Star Ledger once called the band, “message oriented hip-hop” while several fans once called them, “the craziest thing we’ve ever seen in our lives.”
Paradox9 - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Paradox9 seeks to create the most interesting music it can by weaving a wide variety of musical influences into an R&B tapestry to produce dancing feet, open hearts and thinking minds. Our lyrics are designed to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable, sing of love gone wrong, the fleeting pace of time and hopefully offer a bit of hope to what is left of civilization. When we looked for new members and were asked to describe the band the one word that came up was “mellow.” Not in a Barry Manilow way. No Olivia Newton John no “Afternoon Delight”. It describes the way we do things. No egos, no publicity stunts, no guitar heroes, nothing artificial. It’s all about making great music, enjoying the process and sharing it with an audience.
Chaser Eight - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Chaser Eight
North Haven, Connecticut rock quintet Chaser Eight craft epic and moody rock that recalls the grandeur of David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, The Doors, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Killers, and even Lana Del Rey. The group boasts bluesy and richly expressive vocals, mesmerizingly textured guitar playing, and a dynamic and imaginative rhythm section. Their latest EP, Up and Up, is emotionally expansive, from the soulfully uplifting “Take Me Higher” to the gorgeously gloomy “Addict.”

Chaser Eight has opened for The London Souls and The Radiators, and has headlined sold-out shows in Connecticut and New York City. The quintet’s music has been played, and is in heavy rotation, on Connecticut radio stations 99.1 WPLR and Radio 104.1. Currently, the group is featured in the pitching catalog of an esteemed film and TV synch-licensing publishing house, APM Music. The band recently made its TV debut, performing two songs on WTNH's Connecticut Style Stage 8. In addition, *AUDRA* hadthe remarkable distinction of auditioning three songs to The Rolling Stones’ iconic former manager, Andrew Loog Oldham.
