The clairvoyant Madame Beak envisions a crowded room filled with bright music and lively dance. She sees bodies quaking and feathers shaking, feet moving and heads grooving, all to her catchy tunes. Get on the wing and join her nest at the next Madame Beak show.
Ramzi - (Set time: 7:00 PM)

Music has always been a huge part of my life. From playing trumpet for over 15 years to singing in various chamber, jazz and barbershop choirs, music has always had a strong hold on me. Though I've been playing the guitar since I was a teenager, it wasn't until I'd had a little more life experience that I really started getting into writing music. And it turns out I had a lot to say. Everything I've written draws on experiences from my life, and I wouldn't want it any other way, as that gives me a greater sense of attachment to the songs I write, and also lets me expose myself a little more. I'm just hoping to inspire or move someone the way so many songs have done for me. Leaving the office job world in California and moving to New York City in the fall of 2006 really opened me up and freed me to continue writing about the many experiences one has living in New York City. Written half in California and half in New York, I'm very excited about the release of my debut CD, Color. I call it songs about love and life, intended to put a smile on your face. And I hope it does just that.
Lucy Foley - (Set time: 10:00 PM)

Irish born artist Lucy Foley wrote her first album on a pump organ and five strings of a perky little nylon string guitar, while busking in Copenhagen. She recorded it in Brooklyn, called the album Copenhagen, a couple of shows on BBC Radio played it, WFMU played it, Irene Trudel brought Lucy and her band on her WFMU show to play a live set, Cluas.com called it “edgy, offbeat and refreshing”, Roger Ebert described Lucy as “wonderful” and now she is bringing these songs and new ones alive onstage. An album of songs in which people sit on dungheaps and gaze, yearn and fall apart but they don’t go quietly, Copenhagen is a whirlwind of wurlitzers, guitars, deep bass, synths, pots and pans which she is currently taking out to play in the form of her deeply rocking band as she performs with great energy and charisma. An incredible voice.
Killa Beatz - (Set time: 11:00 PM)

NYC's Killa Beatz is a live band playing Rock n roll with the baddest beatz, street culture such as grafitti, hip-hop and high-end street wear, all mixed with classic and southern rock. Killa Beatz is true-to-life music about living in a real life pressure cooker called New York City, united to push rock n roll to new levels, destroy the previous boundaries and cliches and push any speakers to the limit.
