Marlowe Grey
Marlowe Grey is a blend of dark romantic distant memories coupled with the vibrant fresh breath of living in the moment. This kind of Grey has never looked so vivid and rich in color! Brooklyn-based Marlowe Grey was formed by musicians AJ Pietro and Michael Koslow, with the goal of creating soundscapes that sit on top of AJ's simple, yet emotionally charged songwriting. The current ensemble of AJ, Angel Lozada, Trent Blackham, Alex Wirkmaa and Paula Croxson create vibrant arrangements of sound, layering over a heartfelt foundation with sensitive craftmanship and the subtle tones of the flute. This original combination builds upon strong material while exploring new ways of expression. Marlowe Grey’s new single, ‘Midnight In Brooklyn’ was released this past September and will be followed by an EP, which will break dawn this coming winter.
It Was Romance - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
It Was Romance
It Was Romance began as the solo project of Lane Moore during a period when she was spending entirely too much time in police office waiting rooms, and being told by therapists that she’d been through too much and no one could help her. She started using found and collected instruments, including an electric ukulele with a distortion pedal that she plays like an electric guitar, and her own voice as her form of dealing with things that were deemed too intense even for professionals.

After her music began garnering serious attention from UK radio stations that began putting her songs on rotation, and internet fans urging her to play shows live, she decided that while she could play as a one man band, she’d rather find a backing band who could help her fully realize the songs as big and bold as she’d heard them in her head. Years later, she found those people.
