Cracked Latin is the joint brainchild of two longtime friends, Luis Accorsi and Lane Steinberg, conceptually hatched after spending several leisurely afternoons over numerous double and triple espressos listening and admiring a cache of old Celia Cruz and Johnny Pacheco records. Before joining forces, Lane already had a long career in the pop field, cutting his teeth in the cult Miami pop/soul combo, The Wind, while Luis had youthful fame in Venezuela with the Latin rock outfit, Jainz Kapella. The idea was to fuse these two elements and throw a heavy dose of late 60's psychedelia into the mix. The end result is a cross-cultural cornucopia of sound that spins the compass wildly to and fro, throwing a gently illuminative light on the Spanglification of North America, while simultaneously addressing the geo-political issues of both Americas with a surrealistic and humorous bent. The music is at once instantly recognizable and totally uncatagorizeable. Most importantly, it's impossible to sit still as their voices soar over the catchy, hook-driven spicy trans-Atlantic multi-faceted horn-driven aural stew.
Timmy Jupiter - (Set time: 10:00 PM)

Timmy Jupiter and the Recruits is an electronic music project started by Tim Kodres in 2010 in New York City. The style is alt-pop with lots of electronic and dance rock influences. He has worked with various musicians and artists, both in the recording studio and during live shows. Most recently, he has performed with singer/songwriter Lonna Marie, and with Guitar player Tom Roberto and Bassist John Meglino, who appear on a couple of the tracks on the Timmy Jupiter and the Recruits EP. Timmy has become known for his rock n’ roll performance style and soaring, aggressive vocals, which has been entertaining the underground crowds of New York City’s music scene for the past year. Every Friday for the entire month of April, a new song from the five-track Debut EP, Timmy Jupiter and the Recruits, will be released online and given away for free as a download. Be sure to check out the website, www.TimmyJupiter.com for more information and to stay up-to-date.
One Eyed Cats - (Set time: 9:00 PM)

One Eyed Cats are a New York City based Rockabilly band. Playing in a purist style, they offer listeners a chance to transport themselves back to the early days of rock'n'roll in America. A time when things were a little simpler.
