The new album Days from Real Estate came out in October, and it finds the band expanding on the beach-y vibe set forth on their debut. I can’t really explain why, but the songs on this album seem less folk oriented and at the same time more pastoral. Even though the video for the first single off the album, “It’s Real”, appears to be the band retreating to a cabin in the woods of Vermont in the Autumn, I can’t help to be whisked back to the first days I heard this new material in the summer. They are playing this Saturday at Terminal 5 as a supporting act with King Krule for the San Francisco Indie Pop band Girls. I hope you enjoy this jam as much as I do.
